A variable-frequency drive (VFD) (also termed adjustable-frequency drive, variable-speed drive, AC drive, micro drive or inverter drive) is a type of adjustable-speed drive used in electro-mechanical drive systems (e.g. Pumps) to control AC motor speed and torque by varying motor input frequency and voltage. This App calculates the revised pump speed due to adjustment in the input frequency using VFD drive. It also generates the revised speed pump curve for input frequency. System curve can also be superimposed on the pump curved by inputting the required data.
Requires iOS 6.0 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
